Good morning all!

I just want to say hi and that I think your idea of some sort of celebration of the blog would be a great idea… I’m gonna blow the dust off of the old video camera right now!

I really haven’t gone too far back as far as reading old posts but when I think of how much has happened, how much has changed. I hope you guys have a backup of this thing cause I know I want to see it in print someday! I don’t have enough time to make this a great post but I just wanted to say hi and let everyone know I’m not holding any hard feelings from our little technology debate. Your right Nels, it was actually pretty fun and anything that gets this place going again is a good thing. Even if somebody here (no names) is too touchy and likes to blow everything out of proportion…lol.

As for lost, I actually haven’t watched it yet but It’s sitting on my DVR in all it’s HD glory ready to be watched tonight! You see, Liz and I have ended up with kind of a Lost watching group for the season and someone was not able to make it yesterday so we put it off till today. I was totally gonna watch last night anyways cause I didn’t want to overhear any spoilers at work today but didn’t want to use the headphones that would have been required so as not to ruin it for Liz who would have been in the other room. Even your last post, I was so scared to read it but hesitatingly did since it started with “no spoilers”. I’ll tell you one thing though, your post got me even more excited then I already was!

So ya, I guess I better get back to work… Keep up the posting!

I know what you mean about the blog. Just the other day I was doing some backend stuff... that reminds me I have to finish the post about Laurie... and I was caught up once again reading over some old posts, and man are there a lot of old posts!!! I would love to celebrate our 5yr anniversary, made have a live reading of our favorite posts a local Chapters... or how about we do video Re-enactments of some classic posts!!!
Ohh I'm liking this idea!!!

AND HOW ABOUT LOST!?!?! NO Spoilers but WOW! I think we're in for a serious Mind F***

I honestly felt like tonight's premiere could have been the Series Finale! I felt so fulfilled with the big reveal that anything passed this is going to be cherries on top.
I say it again, to those that have not watched LOST... Do yourselves a favor and go watch it. Cause its one of those things one day you'll be happy you did it. They are on special now for 20$ per season on DVD at Futureshop.

I don't know if anybody noticed but January and February of 2008 were our worst months in terms of posts. A total of nine posts for those two months combined. Last year Dec, Jan and Feb were pretty lame and unless we stop hibernating, this Feb will be the same.

I also realized that Sept 1rst of this year is our 5 year anniversary of this here blog....I can't believe 5 years has gone by so quickly! I remember when Nelson and Jase launched the blog and I was at my old place, with a blown up computer that Nelson tried to fix and I couldn't blog. We have to do something special for our anniversary. A get together is in order I believe and it has to be good. Anybody have any ideas?

So after Dino posted, I figured I should wait for Sheree's to get her say. (I'm all for Blogging Etiquette)

Obviously I wasn't surprised by Sheree's response and I loved Dino's but I'm not going to keep beating a dead horse, especially since its not fair to beat a horse when its sooo lame.

Dino was the only one to backup his points with reasons, and yes they sided more towards my thoughts, but at least there was some meat on the bone besides the usual... "I think (this or that) because (I don't like it, point finale) or (Nelson is dreaming)"

So by the looks of it we're at a tie and I'm cool with that... I have faith in my beliefs, it doesn't hurt that tonight while watching the Grammys, Tony had to keep going over to my computer to research things we would ask about the singers until he finally got fed up and said....

"I COULD LOOK THIS SHIT UP EASIER AND FASTER.... IF I HAD AN iPAD!!!"

So we shall see what the future brings, but the funny thing is that if this thing bombs and we never see around, we'll just forget all about it, BUT.... if this thing goes the way I think it will.... then every time you losers see one.... You're going to think....

Hi everyone,

So I'm all caught up on the whole Ipad fiasco--here we go!
First of all, Nelson, you're first argument about the Ipad being so amazing because you can do all these things without even having to get up from the couch--well, that wasn't the best argument to win me over. If I had the power, I'd banish all remote controls so that we'd actually have to get up to change the channel/turn off the lights etc.!! Yay for exercise!

Secondly, as you can probably tell from the title of my post, I'm not crazy about reading off of a screen. And Nelson, you just crack me up. I love the way you talk with such confidence about it being a myth, just like carrots being good for yours eyes. Carrots ARE good for your eyes--they have beta carotene and Vitamin A, and you need these to keep your corneas healthy. So there is definitely truth in it. Just like I'm sure there must be some truth in the idea that reading from a screen is bad for your eyes, or at the very least, simply uncomfortable. And I don't need a study to prove that--I can feel the discomfort in my own eyeballs at this very moment as I read from the screen!

I won't argue that the Ipad isn't awesome though. It is. Technology just isn't my bag baby. So that's that.
